Donald Trump Like Hitler?

We've been talking a lot about Hitler and his Nazi ideology lately, about how he rejects outside races that he believes to be "unpure" and capable of recking havoc in society and their "perfect world". I see many parallels between Hitler's policy at the beginning and Trump's. He is gaining support throughout the country with the conservative people, rather than fixing the problems, he is simply removing people in hopes of solving the problems in the united states. Hitler did the same thing. Rather than revitalizing the economy of Germany through economic concepts and hardworking politics. Trump's politics are similar because he wishes to close immigration into the United States. He has been quoted stating: "“For many years, Mexico’s leaders have been taking advantage of the United States by using illegal immigration to export the crime and poverty in their own country (as well as in other Latin American countries),”. Trump wishes to get rid of all illegal immigrants within the united states, and with that, trump says that he will reduce crime rates, which he believes comes from who he classifies as the Mexicans and Latinos. The racist remarks that Trump speaks of under political debates shows scary similarities between Hitler's racist remarks toward Jews. I guess my question is, what is the reason that so many Americans support Trump's policies?

  1. I had never really thought about that, very interesting. I would have to agree that he is just trying to get rid of the problem than try to solve it.

  2. In my opinion, the reason people support trump is because he promises too many solutions to current issues. (such as a wall for the southern border). People also support trump because of his straightforward personality and his refusal to abide by political correctness. People like that simply because it is a unique way of doing politics.
