Ethan Couch's victim

I saw this video on Facebook of Ethan Couch and the one of the victim's from the accident. Sergio Molina is a 18 year old who was left paralyzed. He was kicked out of the hospital because of lack of insurance. Couch's family refuses to help with any of the medical bills. Even though they received $2 million in settlement with the Couch's, Sergio's family said "the first 6 months of care have already cost them half of that."

Its disgusting that they won’t help Sergio and his family after what Ethan caused. After all, they did use the “Affluenza” defense, meaning “it affected young wealthy people, symptoms of which include a lack of motivation, feelings of guilt, and a sense of isolation.”

All though $2 million is a lot of money, it won't pay all the suffering and expense Sergio and his family are going to have to go through.

  1. I also saw this in Facebook. It's terrible sometimes how the legal system works but it's even worse how the Couch family wont take responsibility.

  2. The justice system should have locked this kid up years ago. You can't help or save a spoiled kid by giving him what he wants. Two million dollars may be a lot of money, but in all honesty how valuable would it be to you if you couldn't walk or live your life normally?
This entire case makes me feel like the Couch family and the justice system are putting price tags on people, saying the life of this man who had just been paralyzed is only worth two million dollars. It's disturbing.

  4. Wow thanks for sharing. Its tragic how society works now a days. Minorities suffer the most when the wealthy people get off the hook so fast. Its so ignorant how the Couch family couldn't take one bit of responsibility. And now this young innocent man is suffering for someone else's bad and ignorant actions.

  6. This is totally absurd. I think that the Couch family should be responsible for paying all of the victims' medical bills, considering their son got off scot-free after the incident.
