Animal Therapy

Haley's documentary really hit home for me, and I am sure many other classmates in global, and possibly even our teachers, because we all have animals, whether it be dogs, cats, bunny rabbits, or anything else, that provide us with a sense of comfort no matter what the day brings. Each day when I get home from school, my dog, Steve, is there to greet me with an insane amount of energy and love that brightens my every day, especially when the day is not going so well. It is true that Animals provide therapy because they will always stick right by your side and comfort you no matter what. The calming effect that animals have on people, which Haley depicted throughout her documentary, is what helps many people, including people who are sick and are in need of a furry friend. Also, I liked the point she made about how people who own dogs are 70% more active than non dog owners. Animals benefit people in all kinds of ways, which is why I believed this documentary to be one of the best so far.
