Gambling problem

I was pretty shocked to see how much money people spend gambling every year. It seems so obvious to me to spend that money on other more important things in life. It doesn't surprise me that people's behavior change while gambling-especially with so much money on the line. It seems like gambling is pretty comparable to highly addictive drugs.
