"HIV/AIDS' Reaction

It's very interesting. I didn't know that HIV was known as GIRD. It's amazing how back in the days things are made and named to discriminate against a group of people. Our school's health class raise awareness about STDs and HIV/AIDS. But I don't know about the online health classes. I know in some online health classes and in some schools, they do not even talk about STDs, safe sex, HIV/AIDS, drugs, and etc. So even though it may seem like first-nature for us to know, it might not be the same for others. It's pretty shocking to know that some people don't even know anything about STDS. It's also disturbing to know that the number of adolescent getting HIV and other STDs are going up again.
