Drones are the new tech toys of the modern day. Youtubers and photography amateurs use them to take crazy aerial shots and video footage. Youngsters just love to fly them around. But we all know that having "fun" has it's limits. Spying on neighbors, flying around the White House or any action that could pose a security threat. Arrests have been made in Paris because someone was flying his drone around the Eiffel Tower. First of all, it's a tourist-packed attraction and second, there was no way to know the intention of the pilot. Now the drone market is growing. You can purchase small to large drones. If they have the ability to pose security threats, maybe there should be some sort of
regulation? Give me your thoughts.
I agree that "toy" drones are becoming a huge deal which actually is a surprise to me. At first I didn't understand why people were spending so much money on them, but I do think that the sights they are able to capture are awesome. Although I do enjoy seeing scenic videos and pictures that they take, it surprises me when I go places and see "no drone zone" signs. For example at Foothill Park in the hills, there is a sign when you enter that says "no drones," but I'm curious as to why. Why does it matter if someone wants to take scenic pictures of the mountains or of the lake? I don't condone people using them to spy on their neighbors inappropriately, but I don't see as to why it bothers people when they are just being used to capture nice views.
