This morning I was driving past an elementary school on Questa Dr. and I noticed that they had the 15 MPH speed limit as well at Almond elementary and Los Altos High. Mountain View High school has it as well and I think it's ridiculous. The 25 MPH speed limit was bad enough, but at this point the 15 MPH is just a nuisance. There are some students who are worried about getting a ticket for going 30 in a 15 and behind them are parents and even teachers that don't care about tickets, especially Los Altos residents that know they can get away with going over the speed limit. Those people give angry glares and sometimes even honk at the people in front of them going the snail-paced 15 MPH, and it's aggravating because I want to speed up as much as you want me to but I can't afford to get a $200 ticket and possibly something worse for going double the speed limit. I also think this stupid law is a way for Los Altos police to get their ticket quota in before the end of the month since not a lot happens in Los Altos. The 15 MPH is just causing stress and aggravation and I think someone should start a petition to switch it back.
P.S. All of the speedometer checker things say you're going 2 faster than you really are and it gives police a signal that you're speeding so it brings them to all of the roads that are 15 MPH making it super hot boy.

yeah i agree how some people can get out of tickets, especially some of the people that own the special "11-99 Foundation" license plate holders that can get you out of tickets.
