"Child Abuse and Serial Killer" Reaction

The way Claudia structure her documentary was unique. I like how she introduced child abuse and talk about what kind of child abuse there are and how often they occur. It was disturbing to know that every 10 second child abuse occurs, and that there is 6.6 million child abuse each year in America. Towards the end of documentary, she talks about how there is a high risk to abused kids to develop anti-social personality, and that in return, is one of the main characteristics of serial killers. She also gave stats of how 40.1% serial killers commit murder for enjoyment. I always wondered why so many serial killer always have a bad past in their childhood, and most of the time, it's child abuse. Of course there is still no direct connection between the two, but the thought of it is quite frightening.
