LAST POST ON WOMEN

Last night I watched Chelsea Handler's new series on Netflix. Chelsea Handler is easily looked at as either hysterical, extremely incorrect, a woman that isn't scared to speak her mind regardless of people's feelings, or just a talentless bitch. In this specific episode, "Captain America and Friends" Chelsea and 4 other stars speak about women and the unfairness in Hollywood.  I found it really interesting that the 3 men were actually the one's supporting the inequality women undergo opposed to Chelsea and Emily Vancamp. Chelsea and Emily both agreed that they hate and are done discussing "women being taken advantage of and the disparity as a woman" they believe that instead of discussing the same thing over and over again that they would both prefer to act it out and actually do something about it instead of complaining. I know this is obviously easier said than done but with this type of mindset, to go and actually do something about it and make the difference or a statement will fill the gap between men and women. Although, Chelsea can be extremely obnoxious I respect her very much and her audacity. She respects and is true to herself, she considers herself a feminists but I think she proves her own point that "you can talk about it in an effective way but you can act on it in a more effective way". I know that women have a lot of room to grow from where we have been and where we are now but it is going to take women with Chelsea's mindset to go up and actually do something about it rather than talk and be negative.  At the end of the day all feminism means is that women and men are both equal and that no one is above the other.
