From this documentary, I learned that 1% of gamblers have their lives completely ruined, so it only makes sense to legalize gambling with certain restrictions. Gamblers part of this 1% experience hard-hitting addiction. Some gamblers believe they will always come out even, leading them to gamble more. Also, some are very optimistic and plan what they will do with the money when they win.
