"Teen Domestic Violence" Reaction

I really liked how Lizbeth started the documentary with student's view of domestic violence. I felt like it was a creative way to open the topic. I thought that it was shocking to know that 1 out of 10 students experience domestic violence before college. However, I can see that happening very commonly since a lot of the times, relationships during teenage years can end up being abused by their partner whether it's physically, verbally, emotionally, etc. It also hit me very closely, because I was in an abusive relationship with someone; not romantically, but platonically. Like Lizbeth mentioned, a lot of the times, we think of domestic violence as physical abuse, but it can be something as simple as verbal put-downs and guilt-tripping. I think that this documentary really help raised awareness for the possible abuse in relationship that we can all face.
