"The Impossible Cure" Reaction

When Rachel introduced her documentary, I knew I was going to relate to it right away. I think it is shocking to find out that $124.6 billion dollars goes into the cancer industry. Medicine approved by the FDA seems to be the only treatment that the doctor can give. When I got really sick, my parents had to spend a lot of money for me to get the medication and treatment I needed. But when I went back to Taiwan, I was able to use natural remedies to help my condition. My grandmother has recipes passed down from generations that can help improve your immune system, treat a cold and hormone problems, clear your skin, and many more. There are also herbs and special mixes that are made by the locals; you can go to a restaurant that specializes in medicine and drink a soup that can help improve your immune system. It's shocking and upsetting to know that we don't have this in America. And when we bring it up the doctor, they usually shoot down the idea and call it bogus or dangerous. Overall, I think it was a great documentary. The editing was superb too.
