Participation Trophies

What I found most interesting while watching Trevor's documentary on participation trophies is when he talked about whether or not giving participation trophies to kids is a good or bad idea. I believe that giving participation trophies to kids is a good idea but only up until a certain age. For me I think age 10 is a good age to stop giving out participation trophies and only give trophies to kids who got in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. The reason behind why I believe participation trophies are good to give until age 10 is because at a young age everyone needs a little bit more of a push or an incentive to do something. On the other hand once you hit age 10 you should relatively be mature enough to decide how hard you want to work.
