Handful of Americans Mad Over Old Navy Ad

Recently in the news, I noticed that there has been criticism of Old Navy for using a interracial family in their advertisement.  Some people in the U.S. were angered by the fact that one of the parents was white, and the other parent was African-American.  I still find it crazy that people can be so bothered by an interracial and mixed family.  I do understand that there are people that were raised this way and they believe it is nontraditional for one race to marry another race, but times have changed and these people should not be bothered by it.  In my opinion, people marry different races from their own, and people of different religions marry each other too and there doesn't seem to be any problem with that.  As long as both people are happy, anyone can marry anyone and it shouldn't upset people that the couple is different races.  I understand why people are upset about it, but it's not a problem so it's time for people to get over it and accept mixed race marriages.
